BIOGRAPHY
Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen made his acting debut in the Danish Children’s Musical & Circus, Cirkus Summarum in 2012, playing one of the lead roles, Buster, a boy who tries to remind everyone to always use their imagination. On the big screen, his first role was Phillip in the 2013 comedy, Player , and that same year he participated in The Keeper of Lost Causes (2013), where he starred as Lars Henrik. He participated in the 2014 Danish series Tidsrejsen . The following years he participated in a couple of short films until in 2017 he was selected for the role of Rasmus in the Danish Netflix series The Rain , which tells the story of a group of people trying to survive six years after a deadly virus is transported. because of the rain it almost destroyed all humans in Scandinavia. In 2020 he premiered the third and final season of it.
