BIOGRAPHY
Mariana González is a producer, director and screenwriter. She completed her bachelor’s degree in film at The School of VISUAL ARTS in New York in 2013, and in 2015 she completed her master’s degree in screenwriting at The London Film School. Velasco , her university thesis, was part of the San Diego Latino Film Festival and Filmfestival Max-Ophüls Preis (2013). In 2017, Mariana was part of the Talents program as a screenwriter at the Guadalajara Film Festival. Her first feature film, Fractal , won the Cinecolor post-production award at the Guanajuato Film Festival incubator (2018), where it also had its national premiere in the festival’s official selection (2020). Fractal premiered internationally at the Malaga Festival (2020), in addition to participating in the Calgary Film Festival, the Women’s Film Festival and the Mérida Film Festival during 2020. Mariana is currently a student mentor at The London Film School and develops several fiction projects with his production company FLAT D.
