May Yul-Edochie expresses gratitude on Yul Edochie’s Instagram for supporter’s comment on his decision to take another wife

Yul Edochie’s first wife, May Yul-Edochie, continues to assert her lack of support for Yul’s decision to take a second wife.

The mother of four recently secured an endorsement deal with her youngest son, and Yul Edochie shared the news on his Instagram, congratulating her.

However, some of the actor’s followers criticized him for referring to May as “Wifey” in his post.

One follower commented, “Who told you that she is still your wife?” and went on to say, “na we dey marry May now,” urging Yul to “go and continue with your new bag of rice and let our classy queen be.”

The follower also expressed disapproval, stating, “She didn’t sign polygamy from the day one. You hate your beautiful wife and children because of a loose woman. I weep for you.”

May appreciated the comment and responded to thank the Instagram user.

“Thanks,” May wrote, along with a lovestruck emoji.

May Edochie has been vocal about her disapproval of her husband having a child with his colleague, Judy Austin, and marrying her following the birth of their son.

After Yul announced the news on Instagram almost a year after the birth of the son, May expressed her judgment of Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin, stating that her God will judge them both.

Furthermore, when Yul shared an old video of him and May laughing and dancing, seemingly portraying reconciliation, May clarified on her Instagram account that the video is old and her faith does not support polygamy.
